What Is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient and profoundly simple healing art, which channels universal life energy, the divine life-giving force. Reiki energy is gentle, yet powerful enough to dissolve and assist the healing of aliments of the physical and emotional body. Reiki heals to the sub-atomic level of each cell. The Japanese theologist Dr. Usui re-discovered Reiki, the long-forgotten healing art at the end of the 19th century. Reiki is an ancient and revered practice of "laying on of hands" which promotes and accelerates healing and balancing of the body, mind and spirit. The word Reiki simply means, universal life force energy.
How Does Reiki Work?
A Reiki practitioner has the ability to accelerate the healing process by transferring magnetic energy, either placing their hands on the body of the person receiving treatment or directing the energy towards them. As the balancing occurs a feeling of deep relaxation develops, resulting in re-establishment of harmony and regeneration.
The Reiki Experience:
The Reiki treatment is often experienced as gentle, relaxing and meditative. The receiver lies or sits in a comfortable position. There is no need to disrobe as this energy moves through clothing. A complete treatment lasts 1 to 1-1/2 hours. During this time the Reiki practitioner allows his/her hands to rest gently on or near different areas of the body corresponding to major organs, the seven main glands of the endocrine system, chakras or any physical area that needs healing. The receiver only needs to relax, enjoy and receive!

Who Can Learn Reiki?
Anyone who is interested in the Healing Arts, in healing him / herself or others. The most important person to heal is YOU! Learning to be a Reiki healer can be a great gift, not only for your own healing, but to be of service to the earth, mankind and all of creation.
Reiki teaching is done through a series of attunements by a Reiki Master. The classes, both in traditional Usui method (which includes the Japanese Reiki) and Karuna Reiki®, are a combination of lecture, discussion and hands-on experience.
Classes are small so that individualized attention may be given. Follow-up sessions and a mentorship program are encouraged. Weekly Reiki Circles in many locations are offered for guests and students. These circles offer Reiki treatments for everyone and on-going learning opportunities for students.

Reiki Classes I, II. ARH, Master and Children
Reiki I
Usui First Degree Reiki consists of four attunements.
This training allows you to get started with physical healing of yourself, your friends and family. You will receive one book (a $20 value), handouts and learn: the REIKI hand positions for self-healing as well as positions for treating someone else, how to treat specific conditions, scanning, beaming, balancing of your energy field and chakras. We will practice learning to heal unwanted habit patterns. You will also learn how to work with plants, animals, trees and electrical equipment.
Class: 2 days totaling 16 + hours of instruction with Certification. $150
Children's Reiki I Class is $50 with Certification!
Childrens classes are offered each summer! ages 6 - 13 yrs depending on the student. Some older students are ready to go right into the adult class.
Reiki II
Usui Second Degree REIKI consists of two attunements for substantially more power. You will receive three REIKI symbols and mantras, handouts and one book.
This level is for personal use and/or the training of REIKI practitioners. Experience advanced techniques for physical, mental and emotional healing. Learn additional skills for self-healing, client healing, the treatments for specific mental, emotional and physical conditions.
Emphasis is placed on Long Distance healing and beginning to learn to work intuitively.
Class: 2 days totaling 16+ hours of instruction with Certification. $300 Mentorship Program encouraged.
Specials ---
This is part one of the Usui Master Training. You receive the REIKI Master Attunement and Master Symbol as well as other combination's of symbols for specific uses.
The ARH class includes all the advanced techniques of healing that a Reiki Master learns. This course is for those who want all the REIKI training but do not want to teach REIKI classes.
You will also learn how to remove negative psychic energy from yourself and others, create abundance, assist with the healing of relationships and situations. You will experience the healing spiral to give continuous REIKI. Discover how to use Reiki to gently release and reprogram our responses to situations that have left their mark on our spirits and in our bodies.
Special emphasis on REIKI meditations and mantras to strengthen the mind and expand consciousness.
Class: 5 days, approximately 40+ hours of instruction with Certification. Mentorship Program Strongly Encouraged.
Usui Reiki Master Certification
This class is to prepare you to teach Usui Reiki and to meet the needs of your students. Not only will you learn how to do the attunements but we will discuss leaning styles, communication skills, commitment to students, class structure and personal self-care as a Healer.
Help will be available to assist you in developing your Reiki Practice. All materials are both in a Large Manual and on computer disk or CD so that you have as much as possible a "turn key operation" to begin accepting students.
One Year Mentorship Program Strongly Encouraged.
Choose your REIKI Master carefully. Expect experience, long term commitment, support and a program that will work for YOU! References available upon request.
